I am thankful for the United States of America and for its federal constitutional republic government. Some of my choices won yesterday, some lost; I pray for all of our leaders and citizenry.

I am thankful for miracles – both the old fashioned kind and miracles of modern technology.

I am thankful for time.

I am thankful for safe travel to Dallas.

It’s finished – I have voted. A little of everything: yes, no, Republican, Democrat, third-party. That’s as political or detailed as I choose to be. Happy to have it done and ready to go to Texas.

Learning a new skill – running the AV board at VBS. It’s a bit intimidating.

My Mad Housewife cup has no “Good Day” line. That might explain a lot of things.

There is a certain irony to the fact that I did not become a certified Boy Scout merit badge counselor until after my own son completed his Eagle. I am now teaching Personal Management to the future leaders of our fine country. I started them off with Time Management – goals and prioritization. First point – don’t let anyone tell you their time is more valuable than your own. If that were true, God would have given them more than 1,440 minutes in their day.
